New poster of the movie ‘Laaj Sharam’ unveiled

KATHMANDU: The highly anticipated Nepali film Laaj Sharam has revealed its new poster, showcasing fresh characters and grabbing the audience’s attention.
The poster features the main cast members, including Mukund Shrestha, Mahesh Tripathi, Vijay Baral, Arpan Thapa, and Kamalmani Nepal.
Notably, actor Sitaram Kattel (Dhurmus) stands out in his unique look, playing the role of a political leader.
Kattel is seen wearing a daura-suruwal and jwari-coat, raising his hand in a gesture of greeting, hinting at his political character.
His appearance has sparked comparisons to former minister and Congress leader Mohammad Aftab Alam. The poster also includes a scene with locals carrying a coffin, hinting at the film’s deeper storyline.
Laj Sharanam is a film produced by the team behind the popular comedy series Sakkigoni. The film stars Arjun Ghimire (Pande), Sagar Lamsal (Bale), Harish Niroula (Cockroach), and Priyanka Acharya (Munni), among others.
Directed by Kumar Kattel ‘Jigri Bro,’ the film features lead actors Vijay Baral, Mahesh Tripathi, Arpan Thapa, Renu Yogi, Vijay Lama, Mukund Shrestha, and Mala Limbu.
Produced under the banner of JPT Creations, the film is produced by Naveen Shrestha, with Ram Naresh Shah and Srijana Khadka serving as co-producers. Cinematography is by Sudip Baral.
Laaj Sharam is set to release on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri, falling on Feb 26.
It is considered one of the most awaited films of the year.
