KATHMANDU: German club Bayern Munich faced a 3-0 defeat against Dutch football club Feyenoord in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.

The match, held at Feyenoord’s home ground, saw Santiago Giménez scoring twice and Ayase Ueda adding a goal to secure Feyenoord’s victory.

Giménez opened the scoring in the 21st minute, giving Feyenoord an early lead.

In injury time of the first half, he doubled the advantage with a penalty.

Ueda sealed the win with an 89th-minute goal.

With this victory, Feyenoord now holds 13 points from seven matches, sitting in 11th place.

Bayern Munich, after the loss, remains in 15th position with 12 points from the same number of games.
