Brij Additives launces advanced building materials series

KATHMANDU: Brij Additives Pvt. Ltd. has unveiled a new series of cutting-edge construction materials at an event held on Wednesday.
The new series includes Cement Tile Grout, Tile Adhesive, Floor Hardener, Repair Kit, Bluff Mortar, Ball Putty, and Waterproofing Systems.
The company stated that this announcement aligns with their commitment to providing innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of Nepal’s construction industry.
With over a century of trust in the Nepali business sector, Brij Additives, part of the Kedia Organization, has been manufacturing advanced, domestically-produced materials over the last three years.
The company’s products are engineered for high performance, durability, and stability, contributing to the development of safe and robust infrastructure across the country.
Key products launched:
Tile Adhesive: High-performance tile adhesives ensure strong and flexible tile fixation for all types of tiling work.
- Tile Fix FT: A cement-based polymer-modified joint filler compound, ideal for tile joints up to 3mm wide, suitable for all types of ceramic wall tiles. It sets in a hard, durable, and water-resistant finish, making it perfect for both interior and exterior use.
- Tile Fix WT: A polymer-modified tile adhesive for ceramic tiles used on walls, designed for interior applications. It is supplied as a dry mix mortar and must be activated with water before application. Suitable for vitrified tiles, heavy marble, granite, and other dense and smooth concrete surfaces.
- Tile Fix AT: A polymer-modified cement-based adhesive designed for tiles ranging from 3mm to 10mm. Suitable for all types of ceramic, vitrified PBT, GBT, marble, granite, and stone tiles, providing a hard, durable, and water-resistant finish ideal for both internal and external use.
CEM-HARD (Floor Hardener): This material enhances the durability and resistance of concrete surfaces. Commonly used in high-traffic areas such as industrial floors, warehouses, and parking lots, it protects concrete from abrasion, impact, and chemical damage.
REPAIR-CRETO (Repair Concrete): An advanced concrete repair solution that addresses cracks and damage in structures, extending their lifespan.
BLOCK FIX (Block Mortar): A special mortar used to bond blocks and bricks during construction, ensuring strong adhesion and stability.
EQUASHIELD EC (Waterproofing System): This advanced waterproofing solution provides excellent protection against water penetration for both internal and external applications.
TILE BOND (Tile Grout): Designed to fill gaps between tiles and ensure the long-term stability of tile and concrete structures, with three types of grout:
- Cement Tile Grout: Made from a mixture of cement, sand, and water, used to fill gaps between tiles. Available in various colors such as white, black, brown, grey, and ivory.
- Epoxy Grout: A high-performance grout made from a mix of epoxy resin and filler powder, known for its superior durability, water resistance, and stain resistance. Available in white, black, brown, grey, and ivory for gaps up to 10mm.
CEM-PLAST (Ready Mix Plaster): A pre-mixed plaster material, ready for immediate use at construction sites. Made from a mixture of cement, sand, and chemical additives, it improves the quality and performance of plaster.
