Ronaldo’s brace leads Al-Nassr to victory in Saudi Pro League

KATHMANDU: Cristiano Ronaldo’s two goals secured a 3-1 victory for Al-Nassr against Al-Khaleej in the Saudi Pro League on Tuesday.

Apart from Ronaldo, Sultan Al-Ghannam also found the net for Al-Nassr, while Konstantinos Fortounis scored the lone goal for Al-Khaleej.
Al-Khaleej faced a setback in the 34th minute when Saeed Al-Hamsal received a red card, leaving his team down to 10 players. Ronaldo opened the scoring in the 65th minute, giving Al-Nassr the lead.
Fortounis equalized for Al-Khaleej in the 80th minute through a penalty. However, Al-Ghannam restored Al-Nassr’s lead just a minute later.
In injury time, Ronaldo sealed the win with his second goal, securing three crucial points for Al-Nassr.
With this victory, Al-Nassr sits third on the table with 32 points from 16 matches. Al-Hilal leads the standings with 43 points from the same number of games.
