KATHMANDU: Nepali cricketer and leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane has sparked speculation about his retirement after sharing an emotional post on social media.

Fans are interpreting the heartfelt message as a signal that he may step away from the sport.

In the post shared late Saturday night, Lamichhane expressed gratitude, saying, “The incredible people of this beautiful nation have always stood by me, offering unwavering support at every step of my journey. Previously, Lamichhane had to step away from cricket after being linked to a controversy involving a minor.

However, he made a comeback to Nepali cricket following a clean chit from the Patan High Court.
