Western winds affect Nepal: Weather update by region
Fog has formed in the Terai region.
KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Weather Forecast Division, has reported the influence of western winds across the country.
According to the division, partial cloud cover is observed in the hilly regions of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, while the weather remains generally clear in other parts of the country.
Fog has formed in the Terai region.
This afternoon, the weather is expected to remain mostly clear in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.
However, partial cloud cover is likely in Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.
The division has issued an advisory urging caution as fog and mist, especially during the morning, may impact daily life, agriculture, health, transportation, and aviation services in some areas of the Terai and the Kathmandu Valley.
