KATHMANDU: The influence of western winds has led to foggy conditions in some areas of the Terai and valleys, prompting the Meteorological Forecasting Division to urge necessary precautions.
Fog is likely to occur in certain parts of the Terai and valleys during the morning hours, potentially impacting daily life, agriculture, health, transportation, and aviation.
The division has advised people to remain vigilant.
According to the division, the Sudurpaschim Province currently experiences partial to generally cloudy weather, while the rest of the country enjoys mostly clear skies.
The weather is expected to remain predominantly clear in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.
However, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces may witness partial to generally cloudy skies in hilly areas during the afternoon.
For tonight, the department forecasts partial to generally cloudy weather in the mountainous regions of these provinces, with light snowfall possible in one or two locations.
