Pedestrian killed in truck accident in Janakpur

KATHMANDU: A pedestrian lost his life after being hit by a truck (registration number Na 6 Kha 4537) on the road leading from Bhamarpura Chowk to Baluwa Tole, Dhanusha, Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan City-7, on Friday morning.

The victim has been identified as 60-year-old Satyanarayan Sah Teli, a resident of Gaurigama, Ward No. 5, Mahottari Rural Municipality.

He died on the spot.

Police have taken the truck driver into custody and are conducting further investigations into the incident.
