‘Karsang’ collects Rs. 1.45 crore in six days

KATHMANDU: The Nepali movie Karsang has grossed Rs. 1.45 crore within six days of its release.
The film, which premiered last Friday, initially saw a modest turnout but has gradually gained momentum, according to distributor RR Films.
From Jan 14 (Magh 1), the audience flow increased significantly, leading to a remarkable box office collection.
The distributor also reported a strong collection on Wednesday.
Directed by Yam Sherpa, Karsang features an ensemble cast including Dayahang Rai, Srijana Ninglekhus, Jeetu Nepal, Diya Maskey, Buddhi Tamang, Srishti Gautam, Doma Hyolmo, Prem Lopchan, and Surbir Pandit.
The movie is presented by Yarsa Films and Purushottam Pradhan Films, with Purushottam Pradhan serving as the producer and cinematographer.
Co-produced by Govinda Bohara, the film also credits Angchiring Sherpa as the executive producer.
Currently, the cast is touring Eastern Nepal to promote the film, engaging directly with audiences and gathering feedback.
