Two killed, one injured in Kapilvastu motorcycle collision

KATHMANDU: A collision between two motorcycles late last night claimed the lives of two individuals and left one injured.
The accident occurred around 10:30 PM on an inner road section in Banganga Municipality-11.
According to police, the deceased have been identified as 35-year-old Nehaman Ali of Shuddhodhan Rural Municipality, who was riding a motorcycle with Indian registration number UP 55 AH 7090, and 27-year-old Roman Tharu of Sainamaina-4, who was riding a motorcycle with Nepali registration number Lu 10 Pa 4496. Both were pronounced dead during treatment at the hospital.
Meanwhile, 26-year-old Ajay Tharu, who sustained injuries in the crash, is currently receiving treatment at a hospital, informed DSP Mohanmani Adhikari, spokesperson for the District Police Office, Kapilvastu.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
