KATHMANDU: National Life Insurance Company Ltd. has unveiled the Bal Amrit–4 Term Insurance Policy under its popular Bal Amrit Insurance series.

The new product has been introduced after considering feedback, suggestions, and demands from senior agents of the company.

The launch ceremony, conducted via Zoom, was attended by provincial and branch managers, marketing staff, senior agents, and department heads from the central office. Speaking at the event, the Chief Executive Officer expressed delight in introducing this enhanced plan.

He stated, “Bal Amrit Insurance has always been a favorite among policyholders and agents. This refined version, focusing on children’s prosperous future, stands as one of the company’s premier offerings.”

Key Features of Bal Amrit–4 Term Insurance Policy

Market Department Head, Vivek Sharma, highlighted the unique features of the policy:

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Insured age: Minimum 1 month (30 days) to a maximum of 15 years.
    Proposer age: Minimum 20 years to a maximum of 50 years.

Proposer Role:

  • Parents or legal guardians can act as proposers.

Coverage:

  • Minimum insured amount: Rs 1,00,000.
  • Maximum insured amount: Rs 50,00,000 (subject to income source).
  • The policy also includes risk coverage for the proposer.

Flexible Payment Options

Premiums can be paid in monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual installments.

Additional Benefits

  • Maximum policy maturity age: 70 years.
  • Surrender value, loan facilities, maturity benefits, and income tax exemptions are included.

To further promote the policy, the company has introduced an “Inaugural Week Incentive Plan” for policyholders and agents.

Sharma emphasized that detailed information is available through the company’s mobile app, website, or any branch office across Nepal.
