Social activist Aashika Tamang held

KATHMANDU: Social activist Aashika Tamang was arrested from Swayambhu on Wednesday afternoon.

According to SSP Basanta Rajuure of the Kathmandu District Police Office, Tamang was taken into custody on charges of indecent behavior.

Police have stated that further investigation into the case is ongoing.

Tamang was apprehended on allegations of misbehavior towards police officers stationed at the Pashupatinath temple premises a few days ago.
