KATHMANDU: The first poster of the Nepali movie Dorii has been officially unveiled, alongside the announcement of its nationwide release on Chaitra 15 (March 28).

Designed by Vijay Basyal, the poster offers a glimpse into the movie’s storyline and emotional depth.

The powerful expressions of the characters in the poster hint at a narrative filled with struggle, mystery, and intense emotions.

Birendra Singh Kushwaha’s fierce expression embodies the movie’s conflicts and the depth of its characters.

Dori is written and directed by Arun Lama, featuring a blend of experienced and emerging talents. i

The cast includes Prabin Khatiwada, Shishir Bangdel, Prakash Ghimire, Arun Lama, Anjana Baraili, Birendra Singh Kushwaha, Raj Paudel, Kavita Ale, Raj Thapa, and Nutan, among others.

Dinesh Bhattarai serves as the movie’s producer, while Raj Thapa takes on the role of executive producer.

The creative team includes script doctor Manoj Pandit, chief assistant director Dinesh Bahadur Rawat, action director Raju Tamang, music director Rajan Raj Siwakoti, art director Roshan Diwana, on-location sound recordist Kishor Khanal, editor Milan Shrestha, and colorist Renish Fago.

According to director Arun Lama, Dorii aims to bring innovation to the Nepali film industry through its narrative, performances, and technical aspects.
