Laxmi Sustainable Energy Fund holds first AGM

KATHMANDU: The first Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Laxmi Sustainable Energy Fund, sponsored by Laxmi Sunrise Bank and managed by Laxmi Sunrise Capital, was successfully held on Jan 12.

The fund, aimed at supporting renewable energy and sustainable development for economic prosperity, has made investments in various hydroelectric and sustainable energy sectors.

Laxmi Sustainable Energy Fund is a private equity fund with an approved size of Rs 1 billion, licensed by the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON).

Ninety percent of the collected funds have been allocated for investments in sustainable energy, while the remaining ten percent is planned for investments in other diverse sectors.
