Citizens Bank provides white canes to 90 visually impaired individuals

KATHMANDU: Citizens Bank International Limited, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, has distributed white canes to 90 visually impaired individuals in collaboration with Disability Protection Nepal, an organization dedicated to advocating for the rights and welfare of persons with disabilities.

The distribution took place during an interactive program organized by Disability Protection Nepal in Saptari district, Madhesh Province, with full participation from the visually impaired community.

The bank expressed its belief that this small initiative would significantly ease the daily activities and mobility challenges faced by visually impaired individuals.

Under its CSR programs, the bank has been actively implementing various initiatives aimed at bringing positive changes in social, economic, cultural, and educational sectors.

Citizens Bank has also announced plans to continue organizing such impactful programs in the future.
