Rabi Lamichhane sent to judicial custody, court appearance again tomorrow

KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu District Court has ordered the judicial custody of Rabi Lamichhane, President of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), until Sunday.

The bench of Judge Madhav Prasad Adhikari directed that Lamichhane be presented before the court at 10 AM on Monday while keeping him in custody.

He was sent to judicial custody as the preliminary hearing could not take place today.

“Chairman Lamichhane was present at the district court today for a statement regarding the Swarnalakshmi Cooperative fraud case,” said court registrar Ramu Sharma. “The court has instructed the police to present him before the bench at 10 AM tomorrow.”
