Rabi’s statement concludes, detention hearing today itself

KATHMANDU: The statement of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane has been concluded at the Kathmandu District Court.

Lamichhane, who appeared in court on Sunday morning, gave his statement before Judge Madhav Prasad Adhikari’s bench.

The court is set to hold a detention hearing on the case later today. Senior advocates Raman Shrestha and Sushil Pant will argue in Lamichhane’s defense.

The case relates to the Swarnalaxmi Multipurpose Cooperative fraud incident in Kalimati, for which a charge sheet had been filed at the Kathmandu District Court.
