Statement of Rabi Lamichhane begins at Kathmandu Court

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President and former Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane has begun recording his statement at the Kathmandu District Court.

The hearing is taking place in the bench of Judge Madhav Prasad Adhikari.

Lamichhane appeared at the court earlier this morning.

He has been listed as a defendant in the Swarnalakshmi Cooperative case, with an official complaint filed for further investigation.

Previously, in the Suryadarshan Cooperative fraud case in Pokhara, Lamichhane was released on bail of Rs 6.5 million after 83 days of investigation and detention hearings.
