11-year-old girl dies in JCB hit

KATHMANDU: Anusha Tamang, 11, daughter of Panch Kumari Tamang, a resident of Nagarjuna Municipality-6, died on Friday afternoon after being hit by a JCB (Ba 2 Kha 6088) on the road near White Gumba in the same municipality.

The incident left her critically injured, and she succumbed to her injuries during treatment at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj.

Police have detained the JCB driver and are investigating the accident.
