Al-Nassr triumphs over Al-Okhdood in Saudi Pro League

KATHMANDU: Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr clinched a 3-1 comeback victory against Al-Okhdood in the Saudi Pro League on Thursday, thanks to Sadio Mané’s brace.

Al-Okhdood took an early lead in the 6th minute through Xavier Godwin.

However, Al-Nassr equalized in the 29th minute with a goal from Mané. Ronaldo converted a penalty in the 42nd minute to give his team the lead, and Mané secured the win with his second goal in the 88th minute.

With this victory, Al-Nassr has 28 points from 14 matches, sitting third in the standings.

They trail league leaders Al-Ittihad by 8 points and second-placed Al-Hilal by 6 points, with both teams having a game in hand.

Al-Okhdood, with 12 points from 14 matches, remains in 14th place.
