Ex-DIG Chhabilal Joshi also to released on bail

KATHMANDU: The Kaski District Court has ordered the release of former DIG and ex-director of Gorkha Media Network, Chhabilal Joshi, on bail of Rs 8.8 million.

Joshi was implicated in the Synergy Cooperative fraud case in Pokhara.

The verdict was issued on Thursday by a bench led by Judge Nitij Rai of the Kaski District Court.

In a related case, the court also ordered the release of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President and former Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane on bail of Rs 6.5 million.
