Bus overturns in south of Tehran, 25 injured

AGENCY: A bus carrying 31 passengers overturned on a highway south of Tehran on Wednesday, leaving 25 people injured after colliding with a Jersey barrier, according to the official IRNA news agency.

The incident occurred at 7:44 p.m. local time (1614 GMT), as reported by Tehran Fire Department spokesperson Jalal Maleki.

Emergency response teams, including firefighters and medical personnel, were dispatched to the scene promptly.

Maleki noted that all passengers managed to exit the bus before rescue teams arrived.

The injured were attended to by emergency medical staff.
