Karnali Province to rebuild earthquake-damaged schools & health institutions

KATHMANDU: The Karnali Province government is set to rebuild schools and health institutions damaged by the earthquake.

The Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Urban Development is tasked with reconstructing the affected government structures in Jajarkot and Rukum West.

According to the ministry, 27 schools and five health institutions in Rukum West are to be reconstructed.

The Infrastructure Development Office has reported that Rs 19.6 million has been approved for the reconstruction of school buildings, and Rs 2.4 million for the rebuilding of five health institutions.
