Woman dies in motorcycle-scooter collision in Morang
The deceased has been identified as 38-year-old Pramila Shrestha, a resident of Ward No. 9 in Sundarharaincha Municipality.
KATHMANDU: A woman has died in a collision between a motorcycle and a scooter in Sundarharaincha-9, Morang.
The accident occurred around 7:30 PM on Wednesday when a motorcycle (registration number Pr 1-02-049 Pa 3718) and a scooter (registration number Pr 1-02-051 Pa 7635) collided.
The deceased has been identified as 38-year-old Pramila Shrestha, a resident of Ward No. 9 in Sundarharaincha Municipality.
According to the Belbari Area Police Office, Pramila sustained severe injuries in the accident and died during treatment at Birat Nursing Home Hospital.
She had suffered serious head and body injuries.
The motorcycle rider, 40-year-old Naveen Singh Thakuri from Itahari, was also injured in the accident.
He is currently receiving treatment at the same hospital.
The police have confirmed that investigations into the incident are ongoing.
