Nepali youth dies in road accident in Canada

KATHMANDU: A Nepali youth has died in a road accident in Canada.

The incident occurred on Tuesday night, and the victim, Yunesh Giri, was originally from Khotang and residing in Brampton, Canada.

Giri was reportedly standing by his vehicle after stopping on a road in Quebec City when another vehicle struck him.

He died at the scene of the accident.

Preparations are underway to bring his body to Nepal for cremation.

Yunesh had moved to Canada for studies on Jan 11, 2022.
