Barcelona reaches Spanish Super Cup final

KAATHMANDU: Barcelona has secured its spot in the Spanish Super Cup final after defeating Athletic Club 2-0 on Wednesday in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Gavi and Lamine Yamal scored the decisive goals for Barcelona.

Gavi opened the scoring in the 17th minute, while Yamal sealed the victory with a goal in the 57th minute, confirming Barcelona’s journey to the final.

The other semifinal will feature Real Madrid and Mallorca.
