KATHMANDU: A 39-year-old Nepali woman, Dikshya Dahal, has reportedly died under suspicious circumstances in Sydney, Australia, according to the Daily Mail.

Just two hours before the incident, a call was made from the apartment to Australia’s emergency services (000), during which loud noises and a heated argument were reportedly heard in the background, the report stated.
Police detained 40-year-old Rabindra Subedi for questioning as part of the preliminary investigation but later released him.
Dikshya, who worked as a nurse in Australia, had been married to Rabindra for a few years.
The Daily Mail also reported that the couple had a history of domestic disputes, some of which had been reported to the police.
Recently, they had stopped living together.
Further investigations into the case are ongoing.
