Second poster for the movie ‘Hostel 3’ unveiled
The new poster now includes actresses Simran Pant, Hena Nagarkoti, and Sama Parajuli.
KATHMANDU: The third installment of Nepal’s popular film series “Hostel,” titled Hostel 3, has released its second poster.
The movie, set to release on March 7, features all the main cast members on the poster.
Previously, the first glimpse of the film showcased the four lead actors — Aashish Ghimire, Paras Bam (Cool Boy), Rhyaan Giri, and Padam Tamang — in playful poses.
The new poster now includes actresses Simran Pant, Hena Nagarkoti, and Sama Parajuli alongside the aforementioned actors.
The poster design was done by Rakesh Dahal.
Hostel 3 is expected to portray the struggles, friendships, and fun moments of campus life.
The film will not only be released in Nepal but also in several other countries on the same release date.
Directed by Sashan Kandel, the script is written by Madhav Sharma, and the story is also by Kandel. The film is produced by Samman Entertainment in collaboration with Aaron Kan Films.
The producers are Suresh Kandel, Karn Karki, and Govinda Adhikari, with Shankar Koirala serving as the executive producer.
Co-producers include Shishir Jhawali, Kundan Gupta, and Anis Sigdel, while the line producer is Kosisraj Khetri.
The film features performances by actors like Umar Khan, Santosh Baniya, Rohan Shrestha, Ashish Purush, among others.
The film’s crew includes Arjun Tiwari as DOP, Buddh Thapa and Manoj Khatri as cinematographers, Sudip Kunwar as the chief assistant director, and Yam Prasad Oli as the production designer.
The music is composed by Arjun Pokharel, Almoda Rana Upreti, Mahesh Ghwali, and Kiran Michael. Editing is by Bikash Dahal, with Praveen Singh and Roshan Bishwakarma handling choreography and Himal KC directing the stunts.
The film will be distributed in Nepal by RR Films and Kaphia Films.
Hostel 3 comes after the success of its predecessors Hostel and Hostel Returns, and it is expected to gain significant attention among the youth.
This film series is also seen as a launching platform for new talents in the Nepali film industry.
