Woman dies in bus hit

KATHMANDU: A 36-year-old woman, whose name, surname, and origin remain unidentified, was killed in a road accident on Wednesday afternoon in Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City-5, Dang.

The incident occurred when a bus with registration number Lumbini Pradesh 02-001 Kha 44, traveling from Birendra Chowk towards the bus park, struck her.

She sustained severe injuries and was rushed to Rapti Provincial Hospital in Tulsipur, where she succumbed to her injuries during treatment.

The police have taken the bus driver into custody, and an investigation is underway.
