Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank extends support to Autism Sikai Kendra
The bank provided one computer and one printer to enhance the educational activities of students with autism at the center.
KATHMANDU: Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank has been conducting various programs under its institutional social responsibility (CSR) policy.
These initiatives focus on areas such as education, healthcare, disaster management, environmental conservation, cultural promotion, infrastructure development/improvement, sustainable development goals, humanitarian services, and philanthropy.
As part of this commitment, the Damak branch of Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank recently extended its support to the Autism Sikai Kendra
operated by Saraswati Secondary School in Damak-9, Itabhatta, Jhapa.
The bank provided one computer and one printer to enhance the educational activities of students with autism at the center.
In a program held at the school today, the materials were handed over to the school principal.
This initiative is expected to directly benefit the 24 students with autism currently enrolled at the center, making their learning process more effective and impactful.
The bank believes that such CSR activities contribute significantly to the overall educational and social development of the community.
In addition to its CSR efforts, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank has recently upgraded its mobile application to align with its policy of providing modern, secure, and user-friendly digital banking services.
The newly enhanced “Mahalaxmi Smart Sathi” app is now available to customers.
