‘Karsang’ movie advance booking opens, secures multiple shows nationwide
With theaters nationwide starting bookings and providing exciting shows, Karsang has secured 25 shows at QFX outlets in the Kathmandu Valley.
KATHMANDU: The advance booking for the movie Karsang, set to release on Jan 10, has begun.
Several multiplexes, including the QFX chain, have started offering tickets for advance booking.
With theaters nationwide starting bookings and providing exciting shows, Karsang has secured 25 shows at QFX outlets in the Kathmandu Valley.
Additionally, QFX has allocated 28 shows across stations outside Kathmandu. The movie’s show count is expected to increase as word of mouth spreads.
The second-largest multiplex chain, INI Cinemas, has provided 15 shows at its three outlets. Similarly, F Cube Cinemas and VSR Movies have each made available six shows.
However, Big Movies and Wan Cinemas are yet to open bookings.
Directed and written by Yam Sherpa, Karsang focuses on a family-oriented narrative set in a rural environment.
The film presents themes of hardship, poverty, and the cultural story of the Sherpa community.
At 2 hours and 5 minutes, the movie aims to capture the hearts of its viewers.
The cast of Karsang includes Dayahang Rai, Srijana Ninglekhus, Jitu Nepal, Diya Maske, Budhi Tamang, Srishti Gautam, Doma Hyolmo, Prem Lopchan, and Survir Pandit, among others.
The movie is produced and shot by Purushottam Pradhan under the banner of Yarsa Films and Purushottam Pradhan Films, with co-producer Govinda Bohara and presenter Angchiring Sherpa.
This marks the return of actor Dayahang Rai’s new film to the theaters after a six-month break.
