Accident in Kanchanpur, Saptari claims life of motorcyclist

KATHMANDU: A fatal accident occurred on Tuesday night in Kanchanrup Municipality-8, Saptari, when a truck (registration number: Ga 2 Kha 1175) collided with a motorcycle (registration number: KO 33 Pa 7248).

The motorcyclist, 29-year-old Sunil Kumar Sah, a resident of Municipality-7, was seriously injured in the crash and later succumbed to his injuries during treatment at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital, Rajbiraj.

The police have detained the truck driver and are investigating the incident.
