Govt vehicle crash in Kirtipur, four injured

KATHMANDU: A government vehicle in Kathmandu’s Kirtipur area has met with an accident.

The incident occurred around 8:15 AM on Wednesday involving a Hilux with the registration number Lu 3 Pha 325, owned by the Education and Human Resource Center.

The vehicle fell approximately 100 meters off the road into a steep slope. According to the police, four individuals, including the driver, were injured. The vehicle was being driven by Janak Khatri.

The injured are 47-year-old Samjhana Devkota from Kirtipur, 47-year-old Vijay Satyal from Madhyapur Thimi, and 33-year-old Shankar Budhathoki, originally from Rukum but residing in Kathmandu.

The police reported that the condition of the injured individuals is stable.
