KAATHMANDU: A wildfire in the forests near Los Angeles has rapidly expanded, growing from 20 acres to 1,200 acres in just a few hours.
According to Fire Chief Kristin Crowley, over 30,000 residents have been ordered to evacuate due to the escalating danger.
The fire has placed approximately 13,000 structures at immediate risk.
Footage shows thick plumes of smoke rising from areas near the Pacific Palisades, as residents flee, leaving behind their homes and vehicles.
Authorities have issued warnings to millions across California, as the wildfire threatens to spread further into surrounding areas.
