Siblings held for murdering father in Parsa

KATHMANDU: A 20-year-old woman, Khushbu Khatun, and her 18-year-old brother have been arrested by the police for allegedly murdering their 80-year-old father, Ramjan Devang, in Pokhariya Municipality-8, Jagatpur.

The siblings reportedly beat their father during a domestic dispute on Monday night, leaving Ramjan severely injured.

He was taken to Birgunj Health Care and later transferred to Neuro Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday morning.

Upon receiving this information, the police from the Shreepur Ward Police Office launched an investigation and arrested the accused.

The police are conducting further inquiries into the case.
