Real Madrid secures dominant 5-0 victory in Copa del Rey, advances to round of 16

KATHMANDU: Real Madrid has triumphed in the Copa del Rey, securing a place in the Round of 16 with an impressive 5-0 win over Deportivo Minera.

The match was held on Monday at Minera’s home ground, where Arda Güler scored twice, and Federico Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga, and Luka Modrić each netted a goal.

Real took the lead early in the fifth minute with a goal from Valverde.

Just eight minutes later, Camavinga doubled the lead, putting Madrid 2-0 up.

In the 28th minute, Güler extended the advantage to 3-0.

Modrić then added a fourth goal in the 55th minute, and in the 88th minute, Güler scored his second goal, sealing a comprehensive victory for Real Madrid.
