KATHMANDU: Nottingham Forest secured a comfortable 3-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers in the English Premier League on Monday.

In the match played at Wolves’ home ground, Morgan Gibbs-White, Chris Wood, and Taiwo Awoniyi were the goal scorers for Nottingham Forest.

The visitors took an early lead in the 7th minute when Gibbs-White found the back of the net.

Wood doubled the lead in the 44th minute, and Awoniyi sealed the win with a goal during injury time.

Nottingham Forest now sit third in the league with 40 points from 20 matches.

Arsenal, also on 40 points, are second due to a superior goal difference.

Liverpool leads the table with 46 points from 19 games.

Wolverhampton remains in 17th place with 16 points from 20 matches.
