DANG: The Rapti Academy of Health Sciences (RAHS) has decided to provide treatment to those associated with the Social Security Fund (SSF).

An agreement to this was made between the Registrar at RAHS, Prof. Shyam Lamsal, and officials from SSF amidst a program in Kathmandu on Monday.

Registrar Lamsal informed that RAHS made such a decision so that it would be easy for the people associated with SSF to access health services easily.

The academy provides general health services to surgeries, he added.

Similarly, SSF said more than 5,000 people were registered under the scheme from Dang district so far.

The number of people getting registered under SSF is growing gradually—those working as security persons at banks and companies, and in foreign employment.

SSF reimburses the amount spent on treatment.
