Defending champions Inter Milan squandered a 2–0 lead, with Lautaro Martínez scoring in first-half injury time and Mehdi Taremi doubling the advantage in the 47th minute.
Theo Hernández initiated Milan’s comeback with a brilliant free-kick in the 52nd minute.
American winger Christian Pulisic equalized in the 80th minute, setting the stage for Tammy Abraham’s dramatic injury-time goal that secured the title.
This marks AC Milan’s first major trophy since 2016 and their eighth Italian Super Cup title.
The victory also signifies a strong start under new manager Sérgio Conceição.
