Young woman found hanged in Tilottama, Rupandehi

KATHMANDU: A young woman has been found dead in Tilottama, Rupandehi.

The deceased, identified as 20-year-old Bimala Rana from Gulmi, worked at a restaurant in Shankar Nagar.

She was discovered hanging in a room within the restaurant premises.

DSP Bijay Pandit, chief of the Butwal Area Police Office, confirmed the incident and revealed that a suicide note was found at the scene. “She was found dead in the hotel’s room. It appears to be a case of suicide, as a note was discovered alongside her,” said DSP Pandit.

The police have called her family members from Gulmi and are conducting further investigations into the case.
