Seven held with drugs in Jhapa & Sunsari
A team from the Damak Area Police Office apprehended four individuals in Kamal Rural Municipality-4, Jhapa, with 1 gram of brown sugar on Jan 4.
KATHMANDU: Police have arrested seven individuals with illegal drugs from Jhapa and Sunsari districts.
A team from the Damak Area Police Office apprehended four individuals in Kamal Rural Municipality-4, Jhapa, with 1 gram of brown sugar on Jan 4.
The arrested include Dhanraj Limbu (39), Rohit Nembang (26), and Rajesh Nembang (23), all locals, along with Suresh Niraula (33) of Shivasatakshi Municipality-1.
Similarly, Charali Police Post arrested Ishak Rai (23) of Mechinagar Municipality-11 and Sunil Nagarkoti Magar (30) of Mechinagar Municipality-13 with 1.47 grams of brown sugar.
In another operation, the temporary police post in Jorsakhuwa, Sunsari, detained Binod Acharya (28) of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-11.
He was found in possession of 1,304 tablets of Tramadol and Spasmo.
Koshi Province Police Office in Biratnagar stated that further investigations are underway regarding the arrests and the confiscated drugs.
