Kumari Bank conducts entrepreneurship training for women & youth in Budhanilkantha

KATHMANDU: Kumari Bank Limited, in partnership with USAID, has been regularly conducting entrepreneurial training programs throughout the country under the “Year-Round Entrepreneurship Development and Promotion” initiative. Recently, the bank completed a training program for women and youth entrepreneurs in Budhanilkantha, coordinated by Ward No. 4 of Budhanilkantha Municipality through the Hattigauda branch.

The event saw participation from over 200 women and young entrepreneurs.

The program was inaugurated in the presence of Honorable Minister of Health and Population (MoHP), Pradeep Poudel, and the Chairperson of Ward No. 4, Shriram KC.

The one-day entrepreneurship training aimed to enhance the living standards of resident women and youth entrepreneurs and encourage the growth of their businesses and ventures, as shared by Chairperson Shriram KC.

Kumari Bank believes that entrepreneurship promotion and development can only be practically achieved through financial knowledge, skills, mindset, and behavioral development.

The bank has also been publishing and broadcasting financial entrepreneurial training, financial literacy booklets, Kumari App, and message-oriented videos featuring renowned national artists to help the general public easily understand these topics.

Through this training, the bank aims to foster the promotion and development of entrepreneurial thinking in local bodies, contributing to the economic prosperity of families, communities, and the nation.
