Mohamed Salah put Liverpool ahead in the 70th minute, converting a penalty. The goal marked Salah’s 175th Premier League goal, equaling Thierry Henry’s record.
United’s resilience shone through when Diallo scored a dramatic equalizer in the 80th minute, sparing the team from another defeat.
Liverpool remain at the top of the table with 46 points from 19 games, while United sit 13th with 23 points from 20 matches.
