Jai Trophy Men’s Elite Cup 2081: Tribhuvan Army Club all out for 121 runs in first match

KATHMANDU: Tribhuvan Army Club was bowled out for 121 runs in 34.4 overs during the first match of the Jai Trophy Men’s Elite Cup 2081 against Nepal Police Club.

Nepal Police Club’s Lalit Rajbanshi delivered a stellar performance, claiming seven wickets in 17.4 overs while conceding just 47 runs.

His impressive haul included the dismissals of Santosh Karki, Trit Raj Das, Sompal Kami, Basir Ahmed, Vivek Yadav, Sahab Alam, and Akash Chand.

Additionally, Kushal Bhurtel, Sarwan Yadav, and Rashid Khan contributed with one wicket each, helping Police restrict Army to a low total.

For Tribhuvan Army Club, Kushal Malla was the top scorer with 25 runs, followed by Bhim Sarki with 22 runs and captain Binod Bhandari, who added 21 runs.
