12-year-old boy dies from electric shock in Dhanusha

KATHMANDU: A 12-year-old boy, Amresh Yadav, the son of Ashok Yadav from Dhanusha, Kamala Municipality-3, Parsa, died on Saturday afternoon after being electrocuted.

While connecting wires to a plug board to watch TV, he was severely shocked and was rushed to the Provincial Hospital in Janakpur, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

The police are investigating the incident.
