Congress leader Thapa: “Party won’t bear the burden of individual crimes”

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Thapa stated that the party will not shoulder the burden of crimes committed by individuals.

Addressing a provincial orientation program in Gandaki, Thapa said, “Be it anyone within the Congress—whether involved in cooperative fraud or found guilty of human trafficking—action will be taken. We must commit ourselves to the party’s purification process. We are no longer going to endure blame in silence. Let’s raise issues within our own party and in lawmaking forums as well. No innocent person should suffer, and no guilty person should escape.”
