NIMB expands branchless banking services in Dhunibeshi, Dhading
With the launch of this service, the bank's branchless banking service centers have now reached a total of 73.
KATHMANDU: Nepal Investment Mega Bank Limited has launched branchless banking services in Dhunibeshi, Dhading, as part of its effort to extend banking services to underserved areas.
The new service is available in Ward No. 9, Tyalghar, Dhunibeshi Municipality in the Bagmati Province, through a business representative, Sanjeev Khatri.
With the launch of this service, the bank’s branchless banking service centers have now reached a total of 73.
The inauguration ceremony of the branchless banking service center was attended by the bank’s representatives, local government officials, and residents.
Aryan Sigdel from the bank’s Digital Payments Department provided an overview of the branchless banking service and its usage during the event.
To ensure the service’s smooth operation, the bank has supplied necessary electronic equipment to the business representatives, enabling customers to open savings accounts, accept deposits, make payments, check account balances and transaction details, transfer funds between accounts, deposit into other banks, pay loan installments and interest, settle electricity bills, and recharge mobile phones, among other banking services.
