KATHMANDU: Global IME Bank Limited marked its 18th anniversary with a series of events, entering its 19th year of operation on Thursday.

Established on Jan 2, 2007, the bank has organized weeklong programs to celebrate the milestone.

During a special event held at the bank’s corporate office in Kamaladi on Thursday, Chair Chandra Prasad Dhakal, who also heads the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, highlighted the bank’s commitment to enhancing service quality and customer satisfaction.

He stated that the bank prioritizes effective and technology-friendly services alongside its merger and business expansion initiatives.

“To meet modern banking needs, it is essential to embrace digital and technology-friendly services while maintaining robust security. Security must remain a minimum standard as we adopt digital technologies,” Dhakal remarked.

He emphasized that Global IME Bank has excelled across various financial indicators over its 18-year journey. Dhakal attributed the bank’s success to adhering to the policies of the Government of Nepal and Nepal Rastra Bank, alongside the dedication and hard work of its employees.

Appreciating the unwavering efforts of all staff, Dhakal expressed gratitude for their significant contributions, which have helped position Global IME Bank as a leading financial institution.

Chief Executive Officer Surendra Raj Regmi shared the bank’s commitment to innovation and customer-centric services.
