GIBL to become Nepal’s largest bank in all parameters: Chair Dhakal

KATHMANDU: Global IME Bank has officially entered its 19th year, marking the completion of 18 years today.
During a special event held in Kathmandu on Thursday morning, Bank Chair Chandraprasad Dhakal claimed that with continuous hard work, the bank will soon become the country’s leading bank in all parameters.
Chairman Dhakal emphasized that employees working with a sense of ownership could reap significant benefits.
He also highlighted that the bank’s savings deposits equating to the total deposit amount of any bank in Nepal is a matter of pride.
Dhakal expressed happiness over the fact that Global IME Bank and its associated remittance companies contribute nearly 50% of the remittances flowing into the country. He also noted that anything is possible when approached with the right mindset, as per his own experiences.
On the occasion of the 18th anniversary, the bank introduced an offer allowing cardholders to enjoy discounts of up to 18% when shopping on Daraz.
The discount offer will be available until Wednesday, Jan 1.
