Harkaraj Rai sworn in as new HoR Secretary

KATHMANDU: Harkaraj Rai has taken the oath of office as the newly appointed Secretary of the House of Representatives.

Speaker Devaraj Ghimire administered the oath to Rai at Singha Durbar today.

President Ramchandra Paudel appointed Rai to the position of Secretary on Tuesday, following the Speaker’s recommendation.

The oath-taking ceremony was attended by officials, including Parliament Secretariat’s Secretary-General Padmaprasad Pandey.

Rai, a resident of Shivasatakshi Municipality-2 in Jhapa, has previously worked in the education sector and as a trainer in various government and non-government organizations.
